Safety Sense
Safety Sense consists of a range of safety equipment that distinguishes between products, machinery
and people to ensure a safe working environment.
Applications
- Entry/Exit light-grid allowing products to pass between sensors but not people
- Photo-electric cells to provide control signals
- Safety control relays with full diagnostics
- Laser Scanner to detect foreign bodies within a dangerous working area
How it Works
An active 3 beam transmitter and receiver incorporating a self test which is activated
upon start up. If any of the 3 beams are broken the safety outputs from the receiver
unit are switched off.
Photo electric cells use either an active or reflective beam for detection.
Safety relay controls and monitors safety devices indicating when a safety infringement
occurs.
A Laser Scanner continuously scans its surroundings 2-Dimensionaly to detect infringements
within a pre-programmed area.
